How they Work
Mini splits are much like conventional AC / HP systems with the outdoor unit located outdoors. The resemblance stops there.
Min split units have a wall, ceiling or floor mounted indoor unit with no ducting taking up space. the refrigerant lines and condensate lines from the indoor unit to the exterior unit along with electrical connections take up very little room.
These systems can be readily adapted to existing homes where you may have that "problem room".
Most all mini split systems have variable speed compressors to tailor the systems output to the needs of the home. The result is increased energy savings and greater comfort.
